![]() ![]() Share the excitement and check out some of the pictures from the week below! Thanks to the Frontier Co-op leadership team for supporting this week’s event by providing time, resources, and encouragement! Thank you to the Hippie Dippie Wishy Washers, Sarah, Casey, Dave, Kelly, Jason, Kristin, Mark, Ryan, Shannon R, Shannon D, and Rebecca for all the time and effort that you put in to making this week great, and congratulations on earning your Redzone Certificate of Excellence! In reviewing the week’s activities, Ryan mentioned how the kaizen event was an “eye-opening experience” and a “confidence booster” for him as an operator. That’s a lot of pressure for anyone to perform under, but Ryan maintained his composure while making huge improvements to his execution as the week progressed. As Lead Operator, Ryan was under constant observation, with every motion and every step being recorded and analyzed. One of the biggest things that stood out in Ryan’s performance this week was his attitude. He didn’t let that slow him down, though, as Ryan jumped right in and volunteered to perform Lead Operator duties on 3 changeovers in one week. Ryan joined the Hippie Dippie Wishy Washers Kaizen Team from a separate shift, making this one of the few times he’s worked with the other team members. While we continue to recognize the entire Frontier Co-op team for the improvements made throughout this journey with QAD Redzone, we’d like to give a special shoutout this week to Operator, Ryan Condon. Implementing just 3 of those actions resulted in a changeover reduction time of over an hour! Can you dig it? ![]() Using tools like process mapping, spaghetti diagrams, fishbone diagrams, and 5S, the Wishy Washers generated 20 action items to improve their changeovers. Armed with the knowledge and solutions to drive continuous improvement, the group really got into a groove while they used Redzone’s in-app functions to manage their changeover reduction kaizen. If the Tritons can overcome the loss of scorers Greg Plummer and Charles Bryant, this could be another 20-win season. It was another great week for the Frontier Co-op team, as we tackled our first QAD Redzone Kaizen Event! The kaizen team, rightfully named the “Hippie Dippie Wishy Washers”, spent some classroom time learning fundamental Lean Manufacturing principles and practices at the beginning of the week before going on a waste walk to find opportunities for improvement. Clayton Quiri (Palm Harbor), and Chase Kosterlitz (Dunedin) are local players who could contribute. Cenatus, Maddux, Henderson, Will Hennegan and Damone Morris all have plenty of game experience.
